Fabrication Projects
I obviously do a ton of fabrication for my own car, but I'd also like to showcase some of the work I've done for others (for pay, or trade, or just because they're a good friend). If you're in the area (Phoenix, AZ) and need some work done, shoot me an e-mail and we'll see what I can do for you.
A friend of mine upgraded his turbo on his CA18DET powered 240SX from the tiny CA T25 to a healthy S14 T28. It was supposed to be direct bolt on, but he ran into a few problems and asked for my help. First he needed a wastegate actuator bracket built as his turbo didn't come with one and he wanted to use the HKS actuator. He also needed to have the turbo housing drilled and tapped for a actuator signal line, and a few other holes slotted to make things line up right with the CA parts.
Another 240SX owner with an SR powered machine upgraded to a T28 and needed a custom actuator bracket made, he got one with the turbo but it broke so he wanted a stronger one made.
This is the intake piping I made for a MK3 Supra (7MGTE), we used 2.5" mandrel bends and added a flange for his HKS SSQBOV. The whole thing was cut, welded and powder coated right in my garage.
Here is the exhaust we made for the same Supra, 3" mandrel bends front to back, he picked up a custom dump pipe and I made the rest. We used a Blitz Nur Spec exhaust and a high flow 3" cat. The combination of the exhaust and intake piping made his turbo spool about 500RPM quicker and added a noticeable amount of power.
This is the custom intercooler piping a made for a 240SX with a CA18DET and a Toyota Chaser FMIC. I also made a flange on the hot pipe to mount a DSM BOV then powder coated the pipes with columbia coatings super mirror blue.
Here's a tow hitch I made for a friend so he could tow his parts car.
I've made a few non-car related things too. Here are a few shots of an audio stand I made for my audio equipment and gaming TV. It's made with square and rectangular steel tubing with aluminum diamond plate shelves, the frame is painted with hammerite paint.
Here are a couple more wastegate actuator brackets if modified/fabricated. The first is for an HKS actuator on a GT25R turbo, the second is a T-28 with the stock T-25 actuator.
This is an oilpan from a MKIII Supra 7MGTE engine. My friend used my garage and my assistance to fabricate a nice high volume sump complete with trapdoors to help keep the oil pump suction submerged in hard cornering.
